about me

I am a literary translator working from Swedish and Russian into English, with a focus on contemporary fiction, children's fiction and drama. I hold an MA in translation theory and practice (the Scandinavian languages, Russian and French into English, UCL, 2014), and in 2015 I was awarded the British Centre for Literary Translation’s Emerging Translator mentorship for Russian.

In addition to literary translation, I also translate non-fiction texts, specialising in the arts, fashion and marketing. A book lover, I am happy to write readers' reports, and have had book reviews published in Swedish Book Review, Glasgow Review of Books and on the European Literature Network. I am an associate member of both the Translators' Association (Society of Authors) and SELTA (the Swedish-English Literary Translators' Association).

I have lived in Moscow, Paris, Stockholm and Uppsala, but am now based back in London. You can see some of my more recent published translations here, and for my full CV or quotes please contact me.
